About the neighbourhood

Our bed and breakfast is located in the area called "La nouvelle Athènes", between the Moulin Rouge and the church called Notre Dame de Lorette. It is a very central area in Paris as most sights (Champs Elysées, place de la Concorde, Châtelet, Opera, the famous department stores Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, the famous rue Martyrs lined with open air fresh markets and cafes and restaurants, the beautiful Madeleine church and area where you will find the famous Laduree Patisserie, all of the above can be reached within 10 mins either on foot or by bus. The locarion of our B&B really is easily accessible to all of Paris, even the Louvre, Tuileries gardens and the seine are a 15 minute metro ride away or a 10-12 minute bus ride.

Welcome to the very heart of the St Georges area if Paris, in between Le Opera Garnier and the romantic Montmartre village, a charming and much sought-after setting with a more residential real Parisian neighbourhood feel. 

Our new B&B suite, is found in a quintessential historic Parisian Haussmann home on the 4th floor (WITH elevator), offered by 2 lovely Parisian hosts, life partners Jerome and Francisco, who have professionally decorated a small and simple yet utterly quaint and charming guests private and complete B&B suite with all the amenities and comforts any discerning traveller could need. Overlooking 2 small courtyards, with 2 windows on either side it is light, bright and full of energy and overall peaceful. 

Guests will find a double bed, private ensuite shower and bathroom, a wardrobe, a work table with free wifi , TV, safe, alarm clock, radio, access land is ideal for travellers who seek authentic and intimate Parisian experiences staying in a real home with hosts who will offer plenty of city tips and advice, friendship and traditional French breakfasts daily.

Guests are given their own set of keys to the apartment and suite located right at the apartment entry, to come and go as they please. Tea, coffee, hot drinks are available at all times at the bar just outside the room. Jerome and Francisco say ‘bienvenue’...welcome!
About the home

Guests who are interested in sharing the life of parisian people living in a real Parisian home, in a typical apartment building will love this quaint Paris apartment and B&B suite, additionally benefiting from Jerome and Francisco’s local advice and tips. This is not a hotel, our hosts welcome you in a homy environment like old friends rather than paying customers. 

Located on the 4th floor with elevator in a traditional Haussmann home. Guests are given keys to the apartment to access any time. Jerome and Francisco have their own private section of the apartment and the dining room/breakfast bar area is the centre and communal area where breakfast is served daily and where guests and hosts can exchange and communicate. Your hosts have 2 cats but they remain in the private section of your hosts and will not disturb you.
About the B&B guestroom

Offered to guests is one guestroom/suite for up to 2 people, at 13 sqm, it includes a private bathroom, separate private toilet. Your hosts designed the layout of the apartment and guest room to give guests the best of comfort, tranquility and hospitality. 

The guest apartment is located on the 4th floor overlooking two courtyards. It is south facing and peaceful assuring restful nights sleep.

Jerome and Francisco have chosen a contemporary design to enhance the charm of this old apartment and The original features have been retained and refurbished as moldings, hardwood floors, fireplaces with mirrors and cast iron radiators. 

The bar and kitchen are the focal point of the room, and allow fluid communication between guests and hosts while ensuring guests have privacy from room side. This bar is the place of exchange and conviviality. (Jerome and Francisco live in the private portion of this apartment; it lies on the other side of the bar and guesthouse). 

The guest room has all the amenities needed for a quality stay. It is a double room for two people and unfortunately there is no possibility for an extra bed for safety reasons. The bed is 160 cm and has a private bathroom with shower and sink. The toilet is outside the room.

This guest room is equipped with a TV with international channels, a wireless Internet access, radio alarm clock, a safe, light intensity adjuster, aeration pulse on command, a heated towel dryer. It has been completely renovated by an architect with quality materials.
In addition, the apartment located at the rear of the apartment, overlooking two small courtyards. It is very quiet. There are two windows on each side of the bed, giving it light and charm. A large wardrobe with hanging space is also available, and a small table to work or write.
Guests have a key to be completely independent and tea, coffee, hot drinks are available at all times at the bar just outside the room.

Breakfast menu

Breakfast is served right outside the guest room at the bar (the meeting point) between 8.30 and 10.00.

Jerome and Francisco will serve you fresh products for a traditional French breakfast such as croissants, bio yogurts, fresh fruit, fresh baguette, fresh orange juice, home made jam. It is a French breakfast with tea or coffee or hot chocolate and fresh orange juice. And always a little extra for a good morning start such as cakes. No eggs.

There is also internet access near the bar in case you do not have your own computer.

The apartment is located near Liege metro station or Blanche Metro stations. 

More locally, close to the B&B apartment is the "No stress café" - a good local place to have a drink or something to eat that your hosts highly recommend.

Located near the beautiful St George area  with its many beautiful squares. 

TIP: Visit Le Musee de la Vie Romantique and its incredible garden square. 

Enjoy historic water fountains and sculptures around this area and squares.

L’Opera Garnier is approx 10 minutes away. This grand building is a sight to be seen. TIP: Visit in person for cheap tickets at the door for amazing shows - Opera and ballet.

The famous Moulin Rouge is around the corner (image on right) and further up is the famous Amelie cafe and the bustling rue Abbesses. 

La rue Victor Massé where you can enjoy Paris’ quintessential and beautiful art noveau architecture. 

Shopping at Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores is a breeze at only approx. 10 minutes away.

Additional information

Check in is generally at 12pm. Check in time can be negotiated with your hosts as long as guests provide arrival time to host in advance and respect it.
Arrival and deposit of your bags is possible anytime if you let your host know about it and you can have immediate access to the B&B only if there is no departure of other guests on the same day and if the room has been cleaned and prepared for you. Otherwise, you can access it in the afternoon after it has been prepared. 
Check out is generally at 10am. Guests may leave their luggage on departure day also.
This is a non smoking B&B at all times. 
Jerome and Francoise have 2 cats but do not want to receive any other pets at her B&B and home.  Their cats live in their private living are and do no disturb guests.
Your host apartment is Wifi equipped. With your laptop, you can get connected to Internet. Or guests are able to use their hosts computer in the mornings at breakfast if they do not have their own.
About your hosts

Jérôme and Francisco started their bed and breakfast activity 3 years ago after staying at a B&B in Italy where they enjoyed the same convivial, warm atmosphere and hospitality they now offer.

Jérôme, 53 years, is a teacher at University and in several companies. He is a linguist and speaks English, Spanish and Italian. Francisco, 46 years, was born in Portugal and is a University professor. His speciality is Economics. 

Jérôme and Francisco hobbies are going to the theatre and the movies a lot. They love arts and culture and are very fond of modern art. They frequent the galleries and museums in Paris. They also LOVE travelling having visited North & Central America, South America, many European cities and Asia where they love the culture, monuments and food. Jérôme and Francisco love eating out and are quite gourmets they like trying the latest and best restaurants in Paris.
