About the B&B
The bed & breakfast is located on the 4th floor (no elevator) in the Hotel de Joyeuse, a historic monument. Each guest room has its own character and atmosphere. there are 2 at this B&B. The guest room offered here is the ‘Revolution’ room.

Marie-Christines home is located in an old house, reminiscent of the area (le Marais) with some history. Hence guests will find all sorts odd peculiarities about the home that is so alluringly characteristic of typicak old Paris homes i.e slopping flooring in each of the guest rooms, odd shaped doors etc. Authentic seeking travellers you will love it.

The building dates back from the XVII century, when the King Louis the XIII had the Place Royale built (Place des Vosges since the Revolution). The view from the breakfast room on the roofs is impressive.

There is a piano, and small libraries of books in the rooms, life is simple, easy and happy here. It really is about the simple little pleasures and Marie-Christine’s B&B.
