About your hosts
Your hosts, Brigitte and Gérard, are in their fifties. They have offered their guest room to visitors since 1994 because they are fond of meeting new people and exchanging cultures.

Brigitte works in a bank and Gérard works for BMW. Brigitte, Parisian-born, will be able to provide you with good advice for all your visits and assisting you with booking a restaurant, a show or a taxi.

Brigitte and Gérard invite you to share a drink with them at some time to watch a video on Paris (in English). Brigitte speaks very good English.
The dwelling
Your hosts' quiet and bright apartment was built in 1950 and is located on the seventh floor (with elevator). A small hall separates the private rooms of Brigitte and Gerard from the guest room which gives much privacy to both guests and hosts.

You will be most welcome in the large and comfortable living-room if you wish to relax in the afternoons and evenings to watch TV or talk with Brigitte and Gérard.

Additional information

Your arrival or deposit of your bags is possible every day between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm. If your hosts cannot be at home to welcome you, they will leave a key for you at a neighbour's so that you can come directly to the accommodation and have a little rest, even if they are not there

Brigitte and Gérard have a little bunny called Cookie. They both love animals. Your dog, if he is small and well educated, will be most welcome, but you cannot leave him alone in the apartment during the day.

From time to time, Brigitte and Gerard dog-sit for a friend. He sleeps in their bedroom and is not allowed to go into the guest room. However, if you are allergic to dogs please advise your hosts beforehand so they can ensure he won’t be there during your stay.

The bedroom is strictly non smoking. Gérard is a smoker but he does not smoke in the apartment. If you are a smoker you can smoke on the balcony off the dining-room when your hosts are home, but never in the guest room.

An iron and an ironing board are available upon request.

Brigitte loves music and she has a piano that you can play when she is at home.

A fan, an iron and ironing board are available for your use.

Additional Services
Brigitte and Gérard are keen amateurs of French cooking and will be pleased to share a meal with you during the weekend (for 25 euros/person for a complete gastronomic meal including aperitif, wine, coffee and digestive alcohol).

In the afternoon, Brigitte can be available to spend time for a conversation in French with you or to accompany you for a guided tour in the neighbourhood, to an open-air market, or to some interesting places less visited by tourists than the usual well-known touristic places recommended in the guide books. (25 euros for one hour, tours for two hours minimum – these are private tours personalised for you only, not in a group).

If you travel by car, you can have access to a garage behind the building for 10 euros a day.
